Pediatric Tui Na Therapy in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a history of 420 years. In the Ming Dynasty of China, a specialized book on pediatric Tui Na called "Xiao Er Tui Na Jing" was published, establishing pediatric Tui Na as an independent system within the traditional Chinese Tui Na therapy. Due to the physiological differences between children and adults, the techniques and acupuncture points used in pediatric Tui Na are distinct from those used in adult treatments.
According to TCM theory, pediatric Tui Na improves children's constitution and enhances their immune system through acupressure, regulating the organs, promoting meridian flow, harmonizing Qi and blood, and balancing Yin and Yang. It is effective in treating conditions such as fever, poor digestion, appetite loss, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, cough, and night crying. It can also be used as a preventive healthcare method.
Please note: this treatment is only suitable for children under 12 years of age.
